Deuteronomy 15 : 11 “For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in the land.

I want to encourage you to read the whole of Deuteronomy 15 for better understanding of this scripture and the blessing that will follow you as you help the weak, the poor, and those in despair. Most times, it is not always money. It may be leading them and guiding them through a business. It may be offering them advise on how to be a better person. It may be connecting them to someone that can help if you do not have the capacity.

I have seen people hold on to information that can help someone in need of that information. God is saying to us it is sinful to do such.

Ladies, how many bags do you want to have gan? You see this you buy, you see that you buy, can you wear them all in one day. And someone close to you needs just a little portion of the amount you have spent on a bag.

Men, it is this club sha. If you do not visit on a Friday night, it will be as if your life will end. When that money can bless others .

There is nothing wrong in enjoying ourselves especially if we work hard for our money. It is the desire of God that you spend your days in prosperity and your years in pleasure. The question is what type of pleasure is being referred to here?

God is highly mindful of the poor and that is why Jesus will allow some who takes care of them into His Kingdom. Among these people will be those who fed the poor when they were hungry. Those who gave a roof to an homeless man, and those who clothed the ones who are naked.

I encourage you this week to give this a thought if it is not your practice and God will bless you.
