Your faith shall make you whole

I remember my dear friend sharing with me that a woman of God asked her not to worry too much about her son’s complicated health and accept that God may want her child’s health to remain as it is.

I countered that statement with a but statement. But my bible tells me otherwise. I reminded her of the woman with the issue of blood for 12 years. It is possible people said the same to her but she trusted God for healing, that in due season, she will be healed.

This woman had faith. She has heard about the wonders of Jesus and she believed hers will not be difficult. She did not even call out to Jesus to heal her but she said if only I can touch the helm of His garment- she did and in Jesus’s word “your faith made you whole”.

I pray this morning for people with this kind of faith, that you will not be disappointed in Jesus name. Your faith will make it happen for you. Amen

Now to the 2nd category of people. Those who have just decided or accepted, this is how God want this situation to be or perhaps people have said to you, just accept it. It’s life. I bring you good news from the bible. It is the story of the lame man who was sick for 38 years? He had an encounter with Jesus. The lame man believed he cannot be healed but Jesus commanded him to stand up, pick up his mat and walk. The lame man obeyed and he was made whole.

Though, God may not answer some requests straightaway, but know for sure that with Him all things are possible. God might wait a little longer in order for Him to truly showcase Himself, as in the case of Lazarus. The Bible recorded in John 11, that Jesus Christ waited for another 3 days having heard about Lazarus illness. On the fourth day, Lazarus was dead and buried in the grave. However, at the appointed time, Jesus showed up and raised Lazarus.

I pray that you will receive the grace to persevere, and even though you have given up, God will show Himself Mighty in your life. What you or others think is not possible will be made possible in Jesus name.

Always remember that Our God is merciful and gracious.

Shalom
